Sanna, Kathryn and Jan make up the Community Matters team this week discussing the programs running right across the Youth and Neighborhood Services Team in our community centers.
Jan, as the chairperson of Bagster Road Community Centre Inc, brings an unique perspective to the discussion.
Many listeners may know that six of our community centers are run by not for profit incorporated associations where the board is drawn from the community. These centers operate from council owned buildings with the support of council funded staff members. Only Twelve25 Salisbury Youth Enterprise Centre and The Mawson Centre have a different governance model.
